Test sieves are classified by sieve surface materials into two types: woven metal wire test sieves and perforated metal plate test sieves.

The sieve frames, sieve lids and receiving pans of test sieves are precision-made of high-quality stainless steel. They are mainly used for particle size analysis of granular materials, and widely applied in screening and testing of granular substances in abrasives, geological exploration, metallurgy, pharmaceutical, chemical and building material industries, precise screening of fine particles, as well as quality inspection and control in mass production.

Φ200 sieve frames are mainly mounted on test sieve shakers for particle size analysis and testing of granular materials; they can also be used manually to analyze and test powder particles.

Woven metal wire test sieves are manufactured in accordance with national standard GB/T 6003.1-1997, with basic aperture sizes ranging from 2.36 mm to 0.038 mm. They comply with international standard ISO 3310-1 R20/3, R20 and R40/3 series. The sieve mesh materials include brass, tin bronze and stainless steel.

Perforated metal plate test sieves, also known as plate sieves, are generally used for apertures above 3 mm, available with square holes and round holes.
