Product Details
Xinmingde brand wire thread insert is a new type of threaded fastener, available in two styles: free-running type and locking type. It is a spring-shaped concentric body with internal and external threads, precisely fabricated from high-precision stainless steel wire with diamond cross-section. The locking type features one or more locking coils added to the free-running insert.
When embedded into threaded holes of low-strength engineering materials such as aluminum, magnesium alloy, cast iron, fiberglass and plastic, wire thread inserts can form standard M and MJ threads. They deliver high connection strength, excellent shock resistance, impact resistance and wear resistance. Moreover, they disperse stress to protect the base material threads and greatly extend the service life of substrates.
In addition, wire thread inserts serve as an effective repair solution when the original threads of the substrate are stripped or damaged, avoiding complete scrapping of the workpiece. The repair process is convenient, fast and cost-effective. At present, wire thread insert technology is widely applied in aerospace, weaponry, electrical appliances, instruments, automobile transportation, mining, metallurgy, construction, water pumps, chemical industry and other fields.
