Product Details
Filter screen assembly (shortened as filter disc) is mainly mounted in front of spinnerets of all types of spinning machines for synthetic fiber and regenerated fiber production in the chemical fiber industry, as well as other analogous working scenarios. It filters impurities contained in spinning dope to keep spinneret holes unclogged, elevate spinning fluid purity and secure stable spinning quality.
Matched with gaskets, mesh sheets and sealing rings, filter discs serve as vital consumable parts in chemical fiber spinning. A filter disc is a flat filter element cold-stamped and assembled from multi-layer stainless steel wire cloth ranging from 21.8 mesh to 508 mesh per square inch with a filtration rating of 28 μm, combined with metal substrates of aluminum, nickel-plated copper or stainless steel.
Basic Structure
Based on outer profile, products include round, annular, waist-shaped, rectangular and elliptical styles. Custom filter discs with special shapes and dimensions can be developed through mutual negotiation between buyer and manufacturer.
All metal wire cloth is produced in full compliance with GB5330-85 national standard. Wire cloth is classified into support mesh and filter mesh by aperture size. Support mesh delivers adequate rigidity, mechanical strength and impact toughness, while the precision grade of filter mesh determines the purification performance of spinning dope.
